Steve Colombrita

Steve Colombrita is a comic book artist and illustrator based in New Jersey. For nearly four decades, he's collected comics, drawing deep inspiration from the masters of the medium — Kirby, Simonson, Frenz, and Ditko — work that shaped not just his artistic sensibility but his understanding of what comics can do: tell stories about ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances with honesty and restraint.

In 2024, he self-published SOR Chronicles Vol. 1 through S&S Comics, his imprint honoring his late father Sam. ManPhibian is his first creator-owned series — the story of Carl Karadonis, a man transformed by corporate negligence into something he doesn't understand, forced to confront the question every person fears: is there anything left worth fighting for?
