S&S Comix LLC was formed in 2026 as the creative home for the artwork of Steve Colombrita. What started as a childhood love of drawing and reading comics has continued to burn for over 40 years — through stacks of collected issues, countless sketchbooks, and a deep study of the artists who shaped what comics could be: Kirby, Simonson, and Frenz, alongside foundational figures like Bridgman and Loomis, whose work on anatomy and drawing fundamentals left just as lasting a mark.

Why We Create

Today, that lifelong pull toward the medium lives on in original work. SOR Chronicles told a story close to home — grounded in real places and real people. ManPhibian pushes further, into a world of transformation and consequence, built from scratch and brought to life alongside a small team of dedicated collaborators.

S&S Comix exists to keep making that kind of work — stories that take comics seriously, built by someone who's never stopped loving them.
